Professional Development Workshops

The People Puzzle

When people recognize and appreciate personality differences, communication improves, conflict decreases, and teams become stronger.

Every workplace is made up of different personalities, perspectives, and ways of working—and those differences can either strengthen a team or create unnecessary frustration. Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) framework, this interactive workshop helps participants gain a deeper understanding of their own personality preferences while learning to recognize and appreciate the strengths of others. Participants will explore how personality influences communication, decision-making, conflict, leadership, and collaboration, while discovering where they naturally contribute on a team. Rather than trying to change who they are, participants will learn how to leverage their unique strengths, navigate differences more effectively, and build stronger, more productive workplace relationships.

Conflict Resolution

Healthy conflict builds stronger teams. Drama tears them apart. Learn the difference and discover how to turn difficult conversations into productive solutions.

Conflict is inevitable, but workplace drama doesn't have to be. This engaging workshop equips participants with practical strategies to address disagreements professionally, navigate difficult conversations with confidence, and resolve conflict before it impacts morale, productivity, and teamwork. Participants will learn how to manage emotions, communicate respectfully, understand different perspectives, and turn challenging situations into opportunities for stronger relationships and better collaboration.

Communication is Key...or is it?

Communication isn't just about what you say, it's about what people hear, understand, and remember.

Communication is about more than simply talking—it's about being understood. This interactive workshop explores the many factors that influence effective communication, including listening, perception, body language, tone, assumptions, and follow-through. Participants will discover common communication barriers, learn techniques to reduce misunderstandings, and develop practical skills for building stronger workplace relationships through intentional, effective communication.

Generations in the Workplace

Different generations don't have to compete, they can complement each other. Understanding the differences is the first step toward building stronger, more connected teams.

Today's workforce brings together multiple generations, each shaped by different experiences, perspectives, and expectations. While these differences can sometimes lead to misunderstandings, they also create opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth. This workshop explores the characteristics, strengths, and communication styles of each generation while providing practical strategies for building mutual respect, improving teamwork, and creating stronger connections across generations.

Think It Through
Developing Critical Thinking and Decision Making Skills

Better decisions begin with better thinking. When we slow down, ask the right questions, and focus on facts instead of assumptions, we make smarter choices, solve problems more effectively, and create stronger outcomes for our teams and organizations.

Every day, employees are faced with decisions that impact their team, their organization, and the people they serve. Yet too often, assumptions, emotions, rushed judgments, or incomplete information lead to unnecessary mistakes and missed opportunities. This workshop equips participants with practical critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze situations objectively, ask better questions, evaluate options, and make informed decisions with confidence. Participants will learn how to identify root causes instead of treating symptoms, challenge assumptions, think strategically, and approach workplace challenges with clarity and purpose.

The Balancing Act

When everything feels like a priority, nothing truly is. Learn how to manage your time with purpose instead of simply staying busy.

Busy doesn't always mean productive. In today's fast-paced workplace, competing priorities, constant interruptions, and overflowing to-do lists can make it difficult to focus on what matters most. This workshop provides practical strategies for managing time more effectively, prioritizing responsibilities, minimizing distractions, and creating sustainable habits that improve productivity without increasing stress or burnout. Participants will leave with tools they can immediately apply to regain control of their workday.

Customized Workshop

The best solutions aren't always one-size-fits-all. Sometimes the right edit is the one created specifically for your organization.

Every organization faces unique challenges, and sometimes the right solution isn't found in a standard workshop. Whether you're addressing a specific workplace issue, preparing for organizational change, developing leaders, strengthening workplace culture, or focusing on a specialized topic, The Workplace Edit can design a customized training experience to meet your goals. Each workshop is thoughtfully developed to align with your organization's objectives, audience, and desired outcomes—creating practical, engaging learning experiences that make a lasting impact.
