Team Development

Great teams don’t happen by accident. They’re built through trust, communication, clarity, and an understanding of how each person contributes to the bigger picture. Our team development workshops help groups work better together, navigate differences, and turn individual strengths into collective success.

The People Puzzle
Knowing your type helps you understand yourself. Understanding your team's types helps you understand each other. When you see how the pieces fit together, where you're alike, where you're different, and what each person brings to the table—you can stop expecting everyone to work the same way and start using those differences to make the team stronger.
Every team is made up of different personalities, perspectives, strengths, and ways of working—and understanding how those differences fit together can change the way a team works.
Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) framework, The People Puzzle: Putting the Pieces Together moves beyond understanding individual personality type to explore the personality of the team as a whole. Participants will examine how their individual preferences influence team dynamics, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict, and collaboration.
Together, the team will identify its natural strengths, potential blind spots, and areas where different perspectives may be missing or overlooked. Participants will leave with a better understanding of not only who they are, but how their individual pieces contribute to the way the entire team functions.
Built to Last
A great team isn't built in a day...it's built in the everyday. When expectations are clear, accountability is shared, and everyone is working toward the same goal, strong teamwork becomes more than a moment. It becomes the way the team works.
Strong teams don't happen by accident—they are built with intention. Built to Last explores what it takes to create a team that can perform well, adapt to challenges, and stay strong over time. Participants will examine the foundations of effective teams, including shared goals, clear expectations, accountability, collaboration, and consistency. The workshop also explores how teams can recognize what's working, address what's getting in the way, and create habits that support long-term success.
Whether you're building a new team or strengthening an existing one, this workshop provides practical strategies for creating a team that doesn't just work well today—but is built to last.

Playing Your Position
You don't have to play every position to be valuable to the team. Know your role, own your responsibilities, support the people around you, and remember: the team works best when everyone understands how their position contributes to the win.
Every strong team needs people who understand their role, own their responsibilities, and recognize how their work connects to everyone else's. Playing Your Position helps participants understand the importance of individual contribution within a team while moving beyond the “that's not my job” mentality that can keep teams from working effectively.
Participants will explore role clarity, accountability, dependability, recognizing when to lead and when to support, and how individual performance affects the team's overall success. The goal isn't to stay in your lane at all costs—it's to know your position, play it well, and understand when the team needs you to step up, step back, or step in.

Teamwork without the Drama
You don't have to be best friends to be great teammates. Respect the differences, address the issues, communicate like professionals, and don't let unnecessary drama get in the way of the work you're there to do.
Working with a team would be easy if everyone communicated the same way, agreed on everything, and never got on each other's nerves—but that's not how workplaces work. Teamwork Without the Drama focuses on the everyday behaviors and interactions that can either strengthen a team or make working together unnecessarily difficult.
Participants will explore how to navigate personality differences, communicate through disagreements, address issues without creating unnecessary conflict, avoid gossip and workplace negativity, and work productively with people they may not always see eye to eye with. This workshop helps participants separate personal feelings from professional responsibilities and develop practical strategies for keeping the focus where it belongs: getting the work done together.
The Trust Factor
Trust isn't something a team can demand, it has to be earned. It's built in the small moments: doing what you said you would do, communicating when things change, owning your mistakes, and showing your teammates that they can count on you. Build it consistently, protect it intentionally, and don't take it for granted.
Trust can make or break a team. When it's present, people communicate more openly, rely on one another, take ownership, and feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and admitting mistakes. When it's missing, even the most talented group of people can struggle to work together.
The Trust Factor explores how trust is built through everyday actions—not titles, team-building exercises, or good intentions. Participants will examine the behaviors that strengthen or weaken trust, the importance of consistency and follow-through, how accountability and transparency affect team relationships, and what it takes to rebuild trust once it has been damaged. This workshop challenges participants to consider not only whether they trust their teammates, but whether their own actions make them someone others can trust.
Customized Workshop
The best solutions aren't always one-size-fits-all. Sometimes the right edit is the one created specifically for your organization.

Whether you're addressing a specific workplace issue, preparing for organizational change, developing leaders, strengthening workplace culture, or focusing on a specialized topic, The Workplace Edit can design a customized training experience to meet your goals. Each workshop is thoughtfully developed to align with your organization's objectives, audience, and desired outcomes—creating practical, engaging learning experiences that make a lasting impact.
